13th Cavalry, 117th Regiment, State Standard. Nicknamed the "Irish Dragoons," the 117th was composed of men from Philadelphia, Allegheny, Cumberland, and Lycoming counties. The 13th cavalry received the state standard sometime after May 1863. The regiment mustered out of service on July 27, 1865.
